Just because Ski Season is over- doesn't mean we slow down at Bear Creek! We're as busy as ever in our hotel, restaurants and banquets!
We are currently hiring energetic individuals with great guest service skills to join our team!

Bear Creek Challenge

The Bear Creek XC Challenge “Home of the 2013 and 2014 Mountain Bike National Championships” is a cross country race that takes place on the best trails Bear Creek has to offer. XC Nats

Registration Fees

Juniors: $10 in advance and day of the race
Adults: $35 in advance, $45 the day of the race

Race Schedule

Sunday, June 5
Cross Country
Cat 3 - 9AM
Cat 2 – 10:30AM
Cat 1 - 1PM
Elite/ Pro - 1PM

Race Course

A complete course map will be available to registered racers two weeks prior to the race. 

 

Two-Day Spring Wine Festival

Join us on either Saturday, April 2,  Sunday, April 3 or both from 12-5pm for our Two-Day Spring Wine Festival! Guests will enjoy wine and food samples from over 40 vendors and live music in the lodge. Each guest will receive a commemorative wine tasting glass*, event program, free samples, and have access to our Wine Check service.

Tickets:

Tickets are $30 per day at the door, $25 per day online. Designated driver tickets are also available for $5 per day. (Please note that designated drivers will not receive a wine glass. Advance online purchases will end at midnight on 3/31/16)

Wine Check:

If you purchase two or more bottles of wine please utilize our Wine Check. When wine is purchased, the winery will provide you with a Wine Check slip. After the festival, come to the Wine Check and show your Wine Check slip to the attendant. They will locate your purchase for you. The Wine Check area is located in our Snowsport School area. Wine Check will close promptly at 6pm.

Wine Festival Rules and Regulations:

  • Festival tickets are non-refundable.
  • Late arrivals will be charged full price for entry.
  • Event attendees must be 21 years of age, or older, and have a valid ID.
    (This includes designated drivers)
  • Children and infants are not permitted into the event.
  • Pets are not permitted into the event unless medically necessary.
  • Promotional photos or videos may be taken at the event. By purchasing a ticket, all attendees consent to the use of their image in Bear Creek promotional materials.
  • Outside coolers, food and beverages are not permitted into the event.
  • Bear Creek reserves the right to remove any individuals from the event for any reasons.
  • Bear Creek reserves the right to inspect any/all bags and deny entry of any/all bags.
  • Photo, video or audio recording of entertainers is not permitted.
  • Please consume alcohol responsibly and know your limits.

2015-16 Instructor Training Course

2015-16 Instructor Training CourseITC Snapshot

The Instructor Training Course (ITC) is designed for dedicated skiers and snowboarders interested in becoming professional instructors with the Bear Creek Snowsports School (BCSS). This weekend course (2-day, Nov. 7-8) will consist of indoor/outdoor training and evaluation. The fee for the course is $50.

All candidates must be strong intermediate skiers/riders or better to become instructors. Regular Staff Instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age before December 1. (Associate Instructors are 14 or 15 years of age.) Top candidates will be offered an instructor's position at the conclusion of the ITC.
