Three-Day Wine & Food Festival To Be Held On April 5-7

MACUNGIE, PA. This is not your average wine festival! The weekend-long spring wine and food festival is planned for April 5-7th at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. In addition to the wine festival, a four course wine dinner, poolside aperitif tasting and champagne brunch will take place throughout the resort. Guests can attend all events or pick and choose whichever suit their interest.
Wine Weekend Events:
Four Course Wine Pairing Dinner ($93 per person)
April 5 at 6:30pm in the Mountain Ballroom
Taste, Savor and Learn: Guests will join wine expert Terry Balent to taste and discuss the fine wines of the new world and the old world winemaking regions. Wine will be paired with an exquisite menu prepared by Executive Chef Michael Greenstein. Advanced reservations are required. Reservations should be made online at bcmountainresort.com
Wine Festival- Saturday & Sunday sessions available ($25 in advance /$30 at the door)
April 6 and 7 from 1-5pm in the Mountain Ballroom
Guests will taste the wines of 14 wineries and 14 specialty food vendors. Morning and afternoon seminars explore topics like the cooking with wine, wine education and mixology. A.M. & P.M. seminars are free with purchase of event ticket. Steve Brosky, Jimmy Meyer, RED, 93 Turbo and Jake Kaligis will perform live music during the event.
Poolside Aperitif Tasting ($20 per person)
April 6 from 6-7pm at the outdoor pool
Guests will taste Ouzo, Pstis, Campari Aperol and a Vermouth cocktail, paired with an appropriate onion & rosemary pizza, stuffed olives and Marcona almonds. Live music will be played on the outdoor pool deck. Advanced reservations are required. Reservations should be made online at bcmountainresort.com
Sunday Champagne Brunch ($50 per person)
April 7: Seating at 10am, 11am and 12pm in The Grille
Guests will enjoy a full brunch before the Sunday festival tasting. Brunch fee of $50 per guest includes entry into the Sunday wine tasting session. Reservations are required and can be made by calling The Grille at 610-641-7149.

($25 rate applies if tickets are purchased in advance. Tickets will be $30 per person/per session on the day of the event.)
