BEAR CREEK TO HOST HARVEST WINE FESTIVAL

MACUNGIE, PA.- The 2011 Bear Creek Harvest Wine Festival, sponsored by radio station B104 and the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, will be held on October 23, 2011 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and Conference Center. The Festival will take place from 1-5pm and will be held in the Lodge and Mountain Ballroom.
Bear Creek will host 12 Pennsylvania wineries, Antler Ridge Winery, Blue Mountain Vineyards, Cardinal Hollow Winery, Cherry Valley Vineyards, Franklin Hill Winery, Hidden Creek Vineyard, Kog Hill Winery, Paradox Vineyard, Peace Valley Winery, Sand Castle Winery, University Wine Company and Vynecrest Vineyards. In addition, local food vendors will be sampling and selling popular wine pairings and craft vendors will have wine-themed merchandise available for purchase.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment by local musicians Jake Kaligis and Steve Brosky & Jimmy Meyer, and will have the opportunity to attend wine related seminars. Michael Greenstein, Executive Chef at Bear Creek, will present two seminars; Cooking with Fall Flavors and Elegant Pasta for a Simple Meal.
Tickets are available for $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include a commemorative tasting glass. Designated driver tickets are also available for $5. The Hotel at Bear Creek is also offering a Wine Festival overnight package.
