RESORT ACTIVITIES
Skiing & Snowboarding
Enjoy 21 trails on over 86 acres of skiable terrain at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Our mountain offers something for every level of skier or rider, from an expanded beginner area complete with a carpet lift and triple chair, to Sasquatch, our most challenging black diamond trail with a 50% slope. Lift ticket and rental equipment pricing can be found here.
Snowtubing
For more wintertime fun, enjoy 5 lanes of the steepest tubing park in the region. Snowtubing tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis and can be purchased here.
Hiking & Mountain Biking
Over 7 miles of wooded hiking & mountain biking trails encircle our property. Hikers and bikers are invited to use these trails with the purchase a 2013 Mountain Activity Pass. We ask you follow a few simple guidelines and stop in at The Grille at Bear Creek or the Trail's End Café for post ride refreshment.
Boating
Spend the afternoon boating on our five-acre lake. Boating options include paddling around the lake in one of our single or tandem kayaks, a stand-up paddle board, or four-person paddle boats.
Guests of The Hotel have access to boating amenities during their stay.
Disc Golf
Try this “flying disc” version of golf on one of our two 18-hole course.
Hole one for the Base Area Course begins in the back of parking lot 4. The first 9 holes are a variety of uphill and downhill, mostly shorter (longest is 419 feet). Holes 10 and 11 are open and play over a large pond. The remainder of the back nine is mostly flat & heavily wooded with a creek coming into play on two holes. A course map can be found here.
Hole one for the Mountainside Course begins to the right of the main parking lot in the spillway between the two little ponds. Hole 1 plays over the smaller pond. Hole 2 plays downhill into a heavily wooded area with the basket placed on a island surrounded by water. Holes 4-6 play through the ski/lift area and are characterized by extreme elevation changes with many tees/pins placed in the woods. Holes 7-14 play though the woods, some holes with multiple fairways and two suspended baskets. Holes 15-18 play on the ski slopes and include extreme elevations changes. A very serious course, not for beginners, or people not in good shape. A course map can be found here.
Please note, all disc golf participants must have a 2013 Mountain Activity Pass.
Geocaching
Geocaching combines modern GPS technology with a traditional treasure-hunting game. Several caches (treasures) are hidden throughout our property. For information, inquire at geocaching.com.
Golf
Bear Creek is just a short drive from several local championship golf courses. The Hotel offers golf vacation packages.
