Meet Our Chef

Executive Chef Michael Greenstein
Chef Michael comes to Bear Creek most recently from Wintergreen Resort, a four-season resort encompassing 11,000 acres with a focus on golf and skiing. Wintergreen operates four full-service restaurants, a catering department, five ski area food service outlets and golf snack shops. His accomplishments at Wintergreen make him a great fit for our ever growing food and beverage facilities at Bear Creek.

Among his career accomplishments are his recognition in 1991 in Chefs in America, an invitation to be a participant in Celebrity Chefs brunch for Meals on Wheels in Chicago and acting as a consultant for Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Chef Michael was also a Guest Chef at the White House during the George W. Bush administration.

Chef Michael is a graduate of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and the U.S. Army Aviation Logistics School. He has moved to the area from Nellysford, Virginia.
