CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY AND POND SKIMMING AT BEAR CREEK
MACUNGIE, PA. -- Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center, the region’s premier destination for winter sports, will host a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, March 14 with fun-filled activities for the entire family. The resort’s annual Pond Skimming event, promising thrills, spills and splashes, will take place on Sunday, March 15.

Customer Appreciation Day activities include a scavenger hunt on the mountain for prizes, St. Patrick’s Day food and drink specials, Snowsports school clinics for skiers and snowboarders and storytelling in the lobby at 7:30 p.m. A special NASTAR racing session will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. led by Olympic skier AJ Kitt. Guests can also enter a drawing for ski and snowboard equipment and a Family Fun Dorney Park getaway package at The Inn.

Season pass holders will receive additional benefits on Saturday including first tracks on the mountain from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., a complimentary lift ticket for a friend, free chair massages by The Spa from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and a 20 percent discount at the Mountain Eatery.

The resort’s annual pond skimming event will take place on Sunday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. Participants will ski or snowboard down the mountain and attempt to “skim” across a man-made pond at the bottom. This entertaining event is free to participants and spectators are encouraged.
