THE GRILLE AT BEAR CREEK OFFERS MENU 25 MACUNGIE, PA --The Grille at Bear Creek, a full service restaurant located at Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center, has introduced MENU 25. This new menu uses ingredients produced by local farmers within 25 miles of the resort and each item is available for less than $25.
“With MENU 25, we are able to serve fresh, affordable meals while supporting our local farmers and ranchers,” stated Executive Chef Jason Pope. “Our guests really enjoy dining on locally produced beef, chicken, duck and cheeses and we enjoy the benefit of reducing our carbon footprint.”
In addition to using ingredients produced within 25 miles, The Grille at Bear Creek also utilizes herbs and produce from a Chef’s Garden located at the resort.
Sample MENU 25 selections include Buffalo Pot Roast served with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable medley and Marinated Grilled Pork Mignon accompanied by potato mushrooms, caramelized onions and roasted corn coulis. Each menu selection also includes a salad and dessert.
The Grille at Bear Creek has also partnered with Buy Fresh, Buy Local, a Pennsylvania organization committed to featuring local foods and supporting local producers. “We are committed to providing a market for local producers all across the USA,” said Corporate Executive Chef Orlando Morales. “Chef Jason has done an exemplary job in sourcing and using the wide variety of agricultural products available in the Commonwealth. He understands all of the features – the freshness, the economic impact, the holistic value – and how it benefits our operations and the overall product we present to our guests.”
