What's New for the 18/19 Winter Season

Arialle Hess
New for the 2018-2019 ski season is the role Bear Creek is playing in the winter sports industry. The resort has a strong local community; however, Bear Creek wants to increase interest in mountain sports outside the area. The outreach efforts of the team have paralleled the new 18-19 pricing in hopes of making skiing and riding more accessible and affordable to families.

New to winter sports? Bear Creek has new group lessons starting at $69 (rentals and lift ticket included). If you are dedicated to conquering the slopes, 3-lesson packages are available for $145 (rentals and lift ticket included).

Got your own gear? Kit up and hurry in for some sweet lift ticket deals. For a limited time, the resort is offering 3 tickets for $109 or 5 tickets for $150. These ticket pack deals end December 23rd, but in case you miss out, you can still snag daily discounted tickets throughout the season online at Liftopia.com. The window prices have also dropped since last year with prices being up to $10 cheaper! So, no matter what your commitment level is, Bear Creek has a tier fit for everyone, whether you are an avid alpine enthusiast or the “I only ski when it snows” type.

As always, Bear Creek is rewarding the loyal ski club members as well as college students. Every Monday through Thursday (non-holiday), enjoy all-day skiing for just $25 with your club membership or college ID. These deals offer the flexibility and affordability to satisfy the needs of frequent, loyal skiers throughout the upcoming winter.

As a thank you to all those moms and dads who facilitate youth sports, you will be smiling the entire way down the mountain knowing your wallet still has substance. Bear Creek’s season passes will be offered at last year’s rates and will now be available with stretch pay. Now, you can do more activities with your kids for less! And you will even have a bit left over to treat yourself to something nice.

The 2018-2019 winter season is almost here, and it is more affordable than ever to shred all 23 trails, including 4 terrain parks, or go for a thrill ride down the 10-lane tube park. Bear Creek has everything you need to get hooked on winter sports! Go to BCMR.com to start planning your next winter endeavor.

Yours Truly,
Arialle Hess
