Berks Fiddle Fest

Mark your calendars! Berks Fiddle Fest is back on September 17, 2023

Berks Fiddle Fest is a family-friendly event celebrating American folklore and local history. Every year, its music, entertainment, and home-cooked food draw thousands from around the region. As traditional-style tunes waft through the air, generations gather amid the vibrant mountain scenery to discover and become part of the area’s enduring culture, art, and community. 

Tickets to Berks Fiddle Fest are $7. Children can enter for free.

When you’re ready to take a break from sipping and sampling, relax to the Tuck Ryan Band’s soulful blend of jazz and R&B. 

Tickets to the Summer Wine Festival are $30 online or $40 at the door.

Time: 9 am to 5:30 pm

Location: Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Tickets will be available at the door on the event day. No online/pre-purchase available.

Martin D-18 Ambertone Guitar ($25/ticket)

Warm mahogany and authentic Sitka spruce provide the foundation for an old-soul sound in a modern body. The timeless and understated D-18 delivers the classic Martin guitar experience and an honest, warm tonality.

Handmade Berks County Quilt ($5/ticket or $25/6 tickets)

The bargello patterned quilt pairs striking blues and peaches for a piece that can serve as a wall centerpiece or an addition to a contemporary bedroom. It was hand-crafted locally by a Kutztown Folk Festival quilter. 96” x 108”.

 Open Mic:

You’re invited to our Open Mic, hosted by Dave Kline, in Bear Creek’s amphitheater. Perform your own acoustic act and discover local musicians carrying on folklore traditions. 

Solo artists can sign up for 15 minute slots. Musical groups can sign up for 30 minute performances.

The Open Mic Night is hosted by Berks Fiddle Fest, The Kline Family Mountain Folk Scholarship Fund, The Reading Musical Foundation and Bear Creek Mountain Resort.
