Bear Creek Events

Bear Creek has events taking place throughout the year. Check out our calendar to see what's happening!
 
Upon closely monitoring the statements and information distributed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Bear Creek has decided to postpone the following events for the health and safety concern of guests and staff:
  • Murder Mystery – April 3rd
  • Spring Wine Festival – April 4th & 5th
  • Spring Brew Fest – April 24th
  • Enduro Mountain Bike Race - April 26
Rescheduled dates for the aforementioned events are currently being determined. Bear Creek will honor all pre-purchased tickets and hotel packages on the postponed dates, or at any of the following future events:
  • Rescheduled Wine Festival or Brew Fest – Date TBD
  • Summer Wine Festival – July 24th
  • Harvest Wine Festival – October 25th
  • Fall Brew Fest – November 20th

Spring Fling Weekend

Sat 14th – Sun 15th Mar 2020 8:30AM – 9PM
Enjoy a fun filled weekend with live music, food and drink specials, and of course the traditional end-of-season on-hill events!
Saturday - Cardboard Box Race
What you need to know
•Engineer a racing machine from just cardboard, duct tape, paint and zip ties
•Pilot it down our track in an elimination format until the fastest sled prevails
•No entry fee
•Register by Friday, March 13th via email to info@bcmr.com including name of sled and name of riders
Race Rules

Event Day
•Sled loading begins at 9AM in the pit area at the bottom of tubing
•Sled inspection takes place at 11:30AM in the pit area at the bottom of tubing
•Racing starts at noon
•Prizes awarded for both the race champion and the most creative sled
 
Live music on the deck featuring Trouble City Allstars from 2-5pm.
Sunday - Pond Skimming
What you need to know
•Strap on your gear and try to make it across our pond
•No entry fee
•If you don't feel like getting wet, just come on out to cheer and enjoy the craziness
•Grab some grub from our outside grille on the deck

Event Day
•Registration starts at 9AM in the first floor of the lodge
•All contestants must have a lift ticket
•Pond Skimming starts at noon
•All those that successfully clear the pond will have their name thrown in a hat. We will draw one name from the hat and the winner will receive an unlimited 2020/2021 season pass.

Live music on the deck featuring Dead Friends from 2-5pm.
