Berks Fiddle Fest
Mark your calendars for this year's Berks Fiddle Fest!
Sunday, September 18th 2022 • 9am - 5:30pm
We hope you can join us for this year's Berks Fiddle Fest. This year the event is featuring the same great entertainment and musicianship, but with the addition of an Open Mic!
Traditionally 2500-3000 people from the Mid-Atlantic region come to be part of the fiddle fest. This event provides spectators with enjoyment in varied forms beyond music. Fellowship, home-cooked food, fun and enjoying it all in a beautiful mountain surrounding. Homegrown music wafts through the air as differences in occupations, ancestry, philosophy, and social status disappear in the joy of music. This low-cost, family-oriented event is a celebration of American Folklore at its best.
A folk festival in this area draws a crowd that comes out to see the traditional-style music perfected by elders and passed on to the youngsters. Preservation of this musicianship is an integral part to the posterity of PA Dutch culture. Even though community engagement has increased over the past few years, community support is still needed to continue festivals like the Berks Fiddle Fest. The support from organizations and individuals allows for the preservation of historic and cultural music along with music appreciation that will be passed on from generation to generation.
General Admission$7 for ages 13+FREE for children 12 and underTickets will be available at the door on the event day. No online/pre-purchase available.
