These Children's Private Lessons are taught by professional children's instructors. All children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an instructor while on the chair lift. Children 4 and 5 years old must have a one-on-one lesson. Not recommended for children under 4. |

We encourage groups of up to 6 people. This lesson can be any combination of students from 8 years old to adults. This is the perfect opportunity for families to ski or snowboard together. |

Our winter club is for children ages 8 to 15 from beginners through expert skiers and snowboarders. Lessons will include 2 hours of small-group on-snow instruction. Participants will be grouped on the first day and remain with their group for all three sessions. Some groups will work on freestyle fundamentals needed to explore our beginner park features. If rental equipment is purchased it will be pre-set and ready to go when you arrive at check-in. Check-in is located on the plaza in front of the school. You may register your child for any 3 consecutive weekend sessions either Saturday or Sunday/morning or afternoon. Sessions are held from 10am-12pm (morning) or 1pm-3pm (afternoon). Feel free to register for multiple sessions if desired.

These eight-week programs are designed to build solid fundamentals and strong all-terrain skiing skills that will allow young skiers to pursue any avenue of skiing expression they desire - recreational, competitive, or professional. Our goal is to build a lifelong love of the sport and to develop well-rounded skiers through a diverse combination of free-skiing, skill-development drills, and tactical gate training. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in NASTAR and special non-sanctioned slalom and giant slalom races at Bear Creek as a part of these programs.

A five-weekend program is specifically designed with skiing parents in mind. Coached by top-level trainers (the same folks who train our instructors), this family-focused series develops technical and tactical mastery while also teaching parents how to successfully shape the skiing skills of their children. This program, for skiers ages 50 and over is designed to help sharpen your skills, build confidence, or tune up for a trip. Our Tips-Turns-Tactics clinic is a must for those anxious to improve in a relaxed atmosphere, meet new friends and develop the skills and techniques to keep skiing with family and freinds for years to come!

2020-21 Instructor Training Course: |
The Bear Creek Snowsports School is looking for outgoing, friendly, guest centered skiers and snowboarders interested in joining our team of enthusiastic instructors!
The two-day Instructor Training Course (ITC) will be held November 14 & 15 and will consist of indoor/outdoor training, team building and evaluation. On-snow training will be conducted the first weekend Bear Creek is open for the season.
The fee for the course is $25 for Instuctor Candidates.*
Associate Instructor Candidates (14 & 15 years old) will not be charged for the ITC but will be required to complete a PSIA/AASI Junior Certificate e-learning course after the ITC at a cost of $25
