Snow Tubing in PA

Snow tubing is done for the winter season. We hope all our guests had a blast!
 
NEW this season - Snow tubing will look a little different this year, but it is still just as fun!
  • Face covering will be required when in lift lines and while riding the lifts.
  • Tubing will operate under the mandated physical distancing protocols.
  • This year tubing runs will extend all the way to the top of the park which will help with spreading out the tubers.
  • Tubing tickets are limted, date specific, and must be purchased in advance.

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants must be at least 6 years old and 42” tall.
  • Participants (or parent/guardian if under 18) must sign a release.
  • Snowtubing tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
*Resort Holidays are December 25, 2020 through January 2, 2021, January 16 through 18, 2021, and  February 13 through 15, 2021.

 

What To Know When Buying Snow Tubing Tickets

All participants must be at least 6 years old to snow tube and at least 42 inches in height.

Yes, all participants must be at least 42 inches tall to snow tube and 6 years of age or older. 

The maximum weight for individual snow tubers is 250 lbs.

No. All snow tubing participants must sign their own waiver. An additional signature from a parent or guardian is required for those under the age of 18.

The Bear Creek Snow Tubing Experience

All tubes are assigned to individuals and not shared. All tubes are sanitized after use. Face coverings and physical distancing are required throughout the snow tubing experience from the moving carpet, to the staging area, and in all queues. 

All guests who would like to partake in 10-lanes of stomach-dropping fun must have a valid snow tubing lift ticket. Tickets can be purchased online through our e-commerce store via the link above.

Helmets are not required; however, they are recommended and many guests prefer to take this extra precaution by either bringing their own, or renting a helmet for $12 from the resort’s rental shop located in the lodge plaza. (helmet rental purchases are available at all ticket windows and guest services; advance online purchase not required)

No. The snow tubing slope is one section of the mountain divided into 10 lanes. All lanes are the same length and slope.

Since snow tubing is an outdoor recreational sport, all guests assume a risk of injury when participating. It is important to follow all guidelines and instructions; however, that does not ensure the elimination of risk. 

Unfortunately, toddlers cannot participate in snow tubing at Bear Creek. The resort requires all snow tubing participants to be 6 years or older and a minimum height of 42 inches or taller. Riding with a parent, guardian, or other adult is prohibited.

No. For the well-being of all guests, Bear Creek provides all snow tubing participants with single-rider tubes.

Bear Creek has a carpet lift that takes all snow tubing guests up to the top of the hill.

All guests stand on the moving carpet and carry their tubes with them for the entire duration of the lift. Please do not walk up the lift while carpet is in motion.

All guests must wear face coverings and stand 6 feet apart while on the carpet lift.
