Season Pass Holders receive discounts AND early access to seasonal rentals!

Need a Locker?

Bear Creek has day-rental lockers available for all our guests. They are located in the rental shop, lower lodge, and Bear's Den (upper lodge).
Availability: 7 days a week. Rental is valid for entire day.
Cost: kiosk accepts cash and credit card

What To Know When Renting Ski/Snowboard Equipment

Ski rentals include skis with bindings, boots, and poles.

The “ski rental package” is available to purchase online for both extended day and evening. A la carte rental equipment can be purchased at guest services.

Yes, Bear Creek does offer seasonal ski rentals; however, seasonal rentals are no longer available for the 20/21 winter season due to inventory regulations.

Yes. At Guest Services you can purchase just skis with bindings. The resort also provides guests the option to rent ski boots only, or poles only.

Yes. At Guest Services you can purchase just a snowboard with bindings. The resort also provides guests the option to rent snowboard boots only.

Yes. Helmets* can be rented for $12 from the resort’s rental shop located in the lodge plaza.

Helmet rental purchases are available at all ticket windows and guest services; advance online purchase not required.

*Helmets are not required while skiing or riding in PA; however, they are recommended and many guests prefer to take this extra precaution by either bringing their own, or renting.

Yes, as long as your boots fit our bindings.*

*Ski and snowboarding rentals at Bear Creek use specific bindings that are meant to fit most boots.

Yes, as long as our tune shop techs are able to adjust your bindings.*

*Most equipment works well together; however, there are exceptions. Before your rent, call your local mountain shop first and let them know your binding make and model to see if they will be able to make the proper adjustments.

To determine your correct binding setting, please determine what skier/snowboarder type you are:

Type I – Skis slow and cautious, lower release setting. Entry level skiers or uncertain of their skier type.

Type II – Ski a variety of speeds and terrain, not a Type I or III. Average release setting appropriate for most recreational skiing.

Type III – Prefer skiing higher speeds, fast and aggressive terrain and a high release setting.

Day ski and snowboarding rental packages cost $45 for weekday and $50 for weekend/holiday*. Day rentals are valid open to close.

Evening ski and snowboarding rental packages cost $35 for weekday and $40 for weekend/holiday*. Evening rentals valid 4-10pm.

Renting just skis or a snowboard cost $31. Renting ski or snowboard boots cost $20. Renting ski poles cost $8. Renting a helmet costs $12. A la carte rentals are valid open to close.

*Resort Holidays are Dec. 25, 2020 through Jan. 2, 2021 / Jan. 16 through 18, 2021 / Feb. 13 through 15, 2021. 

No. Ski and snowboarding rentals can be purchased online without proof of ID. If the renter is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver.

Yes. A Rental Contract Release signature is required by a parent or guardian for minors (under 18).

The 2021-22 resort holidays are:
December 24, 2021 through January 2, 2022; January 14 through 17, 2022; and February 18 through 21, 2022
